- Can you get a Ferrari on finance?
- Yes. Ferrari finance is arranged the same way as against any other high value car asset, through hire purchase, lease purchase, PCP, business contract hire, or a refinance against a Ferrari already owned. We arrange it through specialist lenders on every model the marque has built, for limited companies and for individuals, with no minimum advance.
- How much does it cost to finance a Ferrari per month?
- On a Ferrari 296 GTB at £241,560 with a twenty per cent deposit over forty eight months at an indicative 8.9 per cent nominal rate, hire purchase works out around £4,800 a month and lease purchase around £2,485 with £132,858 deferred to a final payment. A Ferrari Roma at £199,355 comes in lower on both. Those are arithmetic rather than an offer, and the payment table on this page runs the same calculation across the current range.
- How long can you finance a Ferrari?
- Terms of twelve to sixty months are normal, and forty eight is the most common. A longer term lowers the monthly payment and raises the total cost. On an older or limited build Ferrari a lender will sometimes want a shorter term, because it is less comfortable forecasting what the car is worth further out.
- What deposit do you need to finance a Ferrari?
- There is no fixed figure. Twenty per cent is a common starting point on a series car such as a Roma or a Portofino, and it is what the payment table on this page assumes. On a heavily optioned car, or one where the invoice runs well above list, a lender will want more, because the deposit covers the gap between what you paid and what the lender believes it could sell the Ferrari for.
- Can you get a Ferrari on PCP?
- Yes. PCP defers a final payment that the lender guarantees, so if the car is worth less than that figure at the end the shortfall sits with the lender rather than with you, and you can hand the Ferrari back instead of settling. That protection is priced in, so it is rarely the cheapest rate available. We arrange it on a business agreement directly, and on a regulated consumer agreement through an FCA authorised broker partner.
- Does Ferrari finance its own cars?
- The manufacturer operates its own finance scheme through official dealers, and it is a sensible first quote to get. It is written to a narrow set of criteria: recent cars inside an approved used programme, standard specification, and applicants who fit a fixed template. Cars and buyers outside that are where independent lenders do the work, which is most of what we arrange.
- Can a limited company buy a Ferrari on finance?
- Yes, and it is the majority of what we arrange. The agreement is written in the company name, the lender underwrites the company rather than only the individual, and directors guarantees are common. How the car is treated for tax, and the benefit in kind position if it is available for private use, are questions for your accountant and we will not pretend to answer them.
- Can you finance a used or classic Ferrari?
- Yes. We arrange finance across the whole range rather than only current models, including classic cars built in the 1980s and earlier. Buying a used Ferrari two or three years old takes the steepest part of the depreciation out of the agreement and is the single most effective way to reduce the monthly payment. An older car has no list price to lend against, so the advance is set against what it would fetch today, supported by condition, service history and provenance.
- What is the 50 per cent rule on car finance?
- It is a Consumer Credit Act right, called voluntary termination, and it does not attach to an unregulated business agreement, only to a regulated consumer one. Under a regulated agreement it lets a borrower hand the car back once half the total amount payable has been paid. Which type you sign decides whether the right is there at all, so ask us if it matters to you and we will tell you straight before anything goes to a lender.
- Are you regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority?
- We are not authorised or regulated by the FCA ourselves, and we do not hold ourselves out as being. Business finance entered into wholly or predominantly for business purposes sits outside the consumer credit regime and we arrange that directly. Where an agreement is regulated consumer credit, it is arranged through an FCA authorised broker partner, and that firm is responsible for the regulated activity and for any advice given on it. You will be told which of the two routes your case takes before anything is signed. You can confirm that for yourself on the
FCA Register.
- Are you connected to Ferrari?
- No. We have no affiliation with Ferrari S.p.A. We are not a Ferrari dealer and not an authorised representative of the manufacturer or of any Ferrari financial services business. We are an independent finance company arranging lending against Ferrari cars, and we use the name only to describe what we do.
